Factors Influencing Job seekers

September 12, 2009

1. Competition:
Competition is a driving force to keep the employee motivated to reach the peak of his career. People tend to change the jobs when they find the jobs in the existing company they have a tough competition, which may be a barrier in their professional growth. Up to a certain time candidate will have an enthusiasm to work in the competitive corporate world. They do work hard to achieve the results. But when labour is not paid, people become ignorant and restless towards their existing job and look for another opportunity.

2. Career opportunity:
Career development is the main perspective point of a candidate in his professional life. His goal will be to reach to that top management level. Therefore an employee while looking for the job looks at how well and how soon he can develop in his professional career.

3. Salary:
The salary perspective for a candidate comes with the qualification and
Experience he holds in that particular domain. The next factor which leads to the expectation of a good salary is the commitments he holds i.e.; family responsibility, loans and other miscellaneous expenses. The candidates tend to think to look for another job when he feels for the same amount of labour he can get a better salary.

4. Satisfaction:
When a candidate joins a company he will be satisfied when he gets the work of his domain knowledge. His job profile should be such that it motivates him to work more. If he doesn’t get the job of his expectation, he looses the interest and tries to look in for a change, which ultimately leads him to look for another job opportunity.
